Ema Janošťáková
President
Hey everyone! My name is Ema Janošťáková and I’m incredibly lucky and excited to be the next President of TIMUN. I’m from Slovakia and currently in my third-year of LLB Global Law at Tilburg University.
Outside of my studies and TiMUN, you’ll probably catch me trying out new recipes, spending time with friends, enjoying a good cup of coffee, or simply watching a great movie. I also love meeting new people and learning about different cultures, which is one of the many reasons why TiMUN feels like such a great community to be a part of.
Being involved in TiMUN has been one of the highlights of my university experience, and I’m truly excited for everything we will accomplish together this year. Whether you are a returning member or joining us for the first time, I hope TiMUN becomes a place where you can challenge yourself, make lasting friendships, and create unforgettable memories.
I can’t wait to meet all of you and make together this the year to remember!
Danaya Rimpopova
Secretary & Director of Professional Development
Hoi Hoi, I’m Danaya! I’m a third-year Global Law student and this year’s Secretary of the Board & Director of Professional Development at TiMUN.
I love music, books, travelling, learning languages, and coffee sessions that somehow turn into 6-hour commitments.
If I had pursued my true passion, I’d probably be graduating with a degree in memes instead of law. Another thing about is me is that my favourite Pokémon is National #0241… make of that what you will.
Tell me a destination you want to visit – if I’ve been there, chances are I already have a suspiciously detailed list of the best cafés waiting for you.
I’m super excited for another year of TiMUN, meeting new people, and working towards the growth of our community! :)
Simeon Velkov
Treasurer & Director of Academics
Hello! I’m Simon, I come from Bulgaria and am currently in my second year studying Economics. This year, I will be our society’s Treasurer and I will also be leading the Academics Committee alongside Yade.
Like many others, I got involved with MUN due to my interest in politics. I have attended quite a few conferences and have built several great friendships along the way.
Chairing our weekly workshops, I hope to bring that same energy to inspire you all to bring out your best debating skills.
Outside of TIMUN, you could find me at the campus library studying, or at least trying to. In my free time, which is not that much, I like traveling and exploring the big Dutch cities. I am also trying to renew my interest in art, which is why you could also spot me in a gallery!
I look forward to spending another productive and exciting year with my fellow members!
Yade Koçar
Director of Academics & Delegations
Hey everyone! I’m Yade, from Türkiye, and I’m a second-year Cognitive Science and Artificial Intelligence student. This year, I’ll be taking on the roles of Director of Delegations and Director of Academics.
I have attended MUN conferences back in Türkiye, and I’m really excited to continue this journey with TiMUN! I’m especially looking forward to working with everyone throughout the year, sharing ideas, learning from each other, and helping create memorable conferences together.
Outside of MUN, I love traveling and going to the movies. I’ve also been playing basketball for many years, so sports have always been a big part of my life. I’m also a big football fan and a proud FC Barcelona supporter, so you’ll probably hear me talking about football from time to time :)
I’m really excited to meet new people, take on new challenges, and make the most out of this year with the TiMUN community. Looking forward to an amazing year together! <3
Fleur Bouwens

Hii everyone! My name is Fleur, I am a second-year global law student, and this year i will be your director of marketing! So if you catch someone running around with a camera you have probably found me!
After joining TiMUN, and starting my MUN journey, only last year, I have helped organize TiMUN Conference 2026 and am now very excited for this next chapter in TiMUN Society!
Other than at uni you can mostly find me at a concert, ask me if I have ever seen the artist and I'm probably already showing you the video's!
I love discovering new places and cities together with my friends and I am always up to see some place new.
I am looking forward to this year together, all the memories we will create and all of the canva projects that will be started! :)
Michał Polak
Director of Social Events
Hi everyone. I'm Michał, your new Social Events Director and a fellow Global Law student. I come from Poland, Tarnów to be exact, and beside an overwhelming love for hiking and nature I am a history and literature enthusiast of sorts. I also have relevant experience in social work and have worked across various social care facilities.
Between studying at Tilburg University and attending workshops I write poetry and try to deepen my comprehension history of Church and development of Christian beliefs and theology across the ages. I also love boardgames and RPG's.
As a Social Event director I intend to provide the best experiences at any social event Timun will organise!
